GAANO KAYA KATOTOONG niri-request na nitong si Coco Martin na patayin na lang ang character niya sa Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo? Napupuno na raw kasi diumano ang aktor sa lagi na lang daw pamimintas at panlalait ni Kris Aquino sa mga damit na isinusuot niya for the said teleserye?

Ewan lang kung totoo talaga pero usap-usapan ng mga taga-production ang diumano’y pagsama ng loob ni Coco dahil nga raw sa diumano’y lagi siyang pinupuna ni Kris na ang babaduy ng mga isinusuot niya sa taping nila for the said series. Sobrang nao-offend na raw ang aktor dahil dito kaya hinihiling na tsugiin na lang ang character niya sa nasabing programa.

Richard Gutierrez and PEP finally find peace

Movie and television star Richard Gutierrez and editors of the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) website led by editor-in-chief Jo-Ann Maglipon reached an amicable settlement today, February 9, 2010, regarding the libel suit filed by the actor over an article that appeared in the PEP website on March 29, 2009.

The PEP article alleged that Gutierrez was involved “in a heated squabble with Michael Flores” during the birthday party of director Mark Reyes, an incident that turned out not to have happened and which story the website has since admitted to have been a mistake.

Having read the sentiments of most ENPRESS members in their respective columns, minabuti ng Tweetbiz (as per my suggestion) na kunin ang pahayag via phone patch ni Jojo Lim, pangulo ng Vilma Santos Solid International (VSSI).

For the record, VSSI is the largest among all fan clubs na itinatag ng mga Vilmanians with members na nasa abroad pa, and Jojo being the most credible spokesperson on behalf of Ate Vi’s supporters (myself included).

Itinanggi ni Jojo na galing ang e-mail na ’yon mula sa sinumang kaanib ng VSSI as theirs is a group that knows how to police its ranks lalo’t may isang erring member nito. Hindi rin aware si Jojo na may ganitong isyu na ikina-react ng ENPRESS, to think na ang presidente pa man din nitong si Jun Nardo is himself a Vilmanian.

Ang best actress issue na pinagtatalunan dito ay ang performance ni Ate Vi sa In My Life at ni Sharon sa Mano Po 6.
