Naka-confine pa rin hanggang ngayon ang comedienne na si Ai-Ai delas Alas sa FEU Hospital. Survivor Philippines Season 2 kicks off national auditions

Thousands of castaway-wannabes lined up as GMA Network’s Survivor Philippines (SP) kicked off its nationwide auditions for its second season at the CSI, City Mall Lucao in Dagupan last February 26 to 27, SM City in Baguio last March 3 to 4, and LCC Mall in Naga last March 9 to 10.

On March 20, the UP Film Institute will also honor Ate Vi on the 25th anniversary celebration of her movie about the political awakening of a nun, “Sister Stella L”, which was first shown in 1984 and won several awards, including her third Urian best actress award.  Entitled “Sister Stella L @ 25: Tuloy ang Pakikibaka,”  the event will have a panel discussion at 5 p.m. about the relevance of the film, directed by Mike de Leon, in Philippine cinema and society.
