Raymond, nagpatutsada sa ‘The Buzz’

NASA presscon din ng Zorro si Raymond Gutierrez na hindi nakaiwas interbyuhin ng press sa pagpapa-interview ni Rufa Mae Quinto sa The Buzz last Sunday, gayung co-host ito ng Showbiz Central.

Hihintayin daw niya ang sasabihin ng dalaga ’pag nagkita sila this Sunday sa show at naiintindihan niya kung galit man ito kay Mo Twister.

Tungkol sa comment ni Kris Aquino sa The Buzz na “Sila, may time na panoorin tayo. Tayo, walang time na panoorin sila,” ang sagot ni Raymond, “Well, at least they gave us one segment. It’s mileage for us, it’s advantage for us. Kung ’di nila kami pinapanood, we don’t talk about them.”

O, ’di ba? Nagpapatutsadahan na ang hosts ng dalawang shows. May hirit pa si Raymond na hindi na namin isinulat para hindi na lumaki pa ang isyu.

Francis Magalona’s family accepts his posthumous Presidential Medal of Merit from GMA

King of Pinoy Rap’s wife Pia Magalona and their children received the posthumous Presidential Medal of Merit for Francis Magalona from President Gloaria Macapagal Arroyo herself  last March 18, in Malacañang.  The award was bestowed to the late Pinoy rapper for promoting nationalism through his music.

The awarding ceremony, which was held at Malacañang’s Reception Hall, was also attended by Francis’s “dabarkads” from Eat Bulaga!—Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) executive Tony Tuviera. The Master Rapper was a regular host in Eat Bulaga! for more than a decade.

Bianca King brushes off “network-favorite” accusation

Bianca King simply finds the accusation that she is one of GMA-7’s favorite talents as baseless and untrue.

“I wouldn’t say na favorite ako ng network kasi five months din ako nawalan ng show,” Bianca candidly told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last  March 16, at the press conference of Zorro held at Studio 7 of the GMA Network Studios in Quezon City.

Jalosjos, convicted rapist, walks free

MANILA, Philippines – Convicted child rapist and former Zamboanga del Norte congressman Romeo Jalosjos is expected to walk out of prison a free man today after completing a commuted 16-year sentence.

“I signed the conformity of the computation of his jail term since he has already completed 16 years of his sentence,” Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez told reporters yesterday.

“It (his release) is now up to Bureau of Corrections director Oscar Calderon,” he said, adding that Jalosjos should have been released last December.
