TNS National TV Ratings (March 20-23): ABS-CBN Primetime Bida spoils debut of Zorro

ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida held its ground to spoil the debut of GMA-7’s newest fantaserye, Zorro, last night, March 23. This is according to the latest survey of Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) among national households.

Although Richard Gutierrez’s latest offering premiered with an impressive 30.9 percent, it still failed to topple the top four ABS-CBN shows. More importantly, I Love Betty Le Fea (37.7 percent) managed to grab the lead from perennial top-rater May Bukas Pa (37 percent), which slipped to No. 2..

AGB & TNS Mega Manila TV Ratings (March 20-23): Zorro zooms to No. 1

Richard Gutierrez’s seventh fantaserye on GMA-7, Zorro, lived up to its expectations as it topped the overnight ratings conducted by both AGB Nielsen Philippines and Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) among Mega Manila households. Zorro posted a rating of 35.8 percent in the AGB survey while it fared higher in the TNS survey with 38.2 percent.

Robin Padilla’s Totoy Bato settled for No. 2 in both surveys. 24 Oras and Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang placed third and fourth, while the rest of the Top 10 saw the following shows: May Bukas Pa, Tayong Dalawa, I Love Betty La Fea, All About Eve, Fated To Love You, and TV Patrol World.

ABS-CBN refutes Manny Pacquiao’s statement; GMA-7 says Pacman “made the right decision”

Giant networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7 issued separate statements earlier last March 24, in connection with Manny Pacquiao’s revelation that ABS-CBN broke their agreement that his recorded statement about his decision to partner with the Kapamilya network will be embargoed, and that his statement was made by ABS-CBN’s lawyer.
